RE: Do it yourself Oil Change on Newmar class a gas motorhome

Oil fills are in the same general space drivers side up high on the front of the engine. Accessible via the front “hood” grill. The only issue is it’s up so high with no room to tilt a 21/2 gallon jug you might find it easier to put the 8qts in with a pump. There are lots of cheap fluid pumps out there. I have a cheap 2D battery powered one I use.

RE: Xfinity stream

Apple branded hdmi dongle. About 50 buck's , at least they were . One thing I can tell you is Do not use the off brand 18-30$ look alikes as they don’t work or won’t work for long. The Apple system won’t recognize them.. I know this from personal experience. Look for Lightning digital av adapter on apples site to know what it is. While there if just order it from them . Using the dongle it uses your phones high speed data . The hotspot data I can guarantee you isn’t really unlimited and you’ll be cut off very quickly.

RE: Xfinity stream

Yes you can in many cases. What phone /tablet ..Apple or android or? you have and what tv and its capabilities will dictate how.

RE: Getting Warranty Service While Living In Your RV

One caution I would be careful with is saying I live in the rv.In Most rvs that invalidates the warranties. When I full timed I told them I was seasonal and in the middle of a trip , and I had a full time rated rv! With some work you will need a motel and make that clear up front that you are out motel costs . Lastly I’d bypass the dealer totally unless I was confident. If the factory offers service I’d go there first. Since you are in fact full time ( I assume moving , not just living in a rv in a park in town) do make it part of your route to visit the factory They will have parts on hand and service will be quick and less painless. Do some sightseeing while there. Fact is as you full time things May require you out of the rv at times . Plan for that expense and logistics. Sounds like your dealer is willing to work with you to order the parts after seeing what you need and let you go until they get them. That’s very rare! most want to keep the rv on their property until the job is done so you don’t ghost them on the parts

RE: Streaming

You will use 1- 3 gb per hour of viewing. High def 1080p, pretty much every tv now , is the 3 So unfortunately no , 10 will not be enough unless you only watch very little tv. We are using 150-200 per month as we travel this summer about 35-50 gb a week. Of course that’s us. Everyone is different.

RE: Motorhomes with 19.5 vs 22.5 tires

Yes the 22.5 also comes with a larger heavier chassis. You don’t option the 22.5 by itself Is it the smaller tires or the lighter capacity chassis, springs etc ? Probably a combination. The bigger I’ve gone , the better it handled but the bigger ones all have many upgrades in suspension. And of course weight.

RE: Holiday Rambler anyone?

The fleetwood/ Holiday Ramber are in fact exact twins of each other. Color and minor style changes. It’s been that way for many years , same assembly , nothing new. I’ve known a couple friends with a Bounder and they love it! A few minor problems , nothing any new coach doesn’t have. They ( and I) Love the new v8 and much improved f53 chassis. Not everyone needs a Diesel, and I’ve had a few.
